Captain Matt Martoccio known as ‘The Captain’ or ‘Captain Matt’ has always loved lighting and the way it changes the world around him. Even as a child he would decorate for his neighbors. Known as the Captain for his Tommy Bahama personality and always willing to be the first to show up and last to leave, never letting his crew down, and helping them get back on course when needed.

Teaming up with the local leader in hardscape designs and installations, BlackDiamondDesign Landscaping, has allowed even more clients to experience what landscape lighting should be, rather than settling for subpar designs.
Our creativity and reputation has allowed us to work with small to massive displays and projects, from the “every man”, to fortune 100 companies, and Hollywood celebrities.
The process starts with us discussing the overall project, what BlackDiamondDesign is going to be installing with landscapes and/or hardscapes and then developing a lighting plan that considers what is existing and what their project encompasses to bring a cohesive lighting design to our clients. The expierence and designs we provide have allowed us to be involved with outdoor lighting projects across the country including; New York, Vermont, Massachuessetts, New Hampshire, Florida, California, Texas, Ohio, Washington, Arizona, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Kentucky.
