I Don’t Tell My Clients How Many Lights I’m Going to Use

Here’s why,

There’s a few reasons why we don’t talk about fixture count. The main reason being I do these final walkthroughs sometimes and I like to add something on, or the install technicians will say “Hey, we need another one here.” Instead of coming back and forth, doing change orders and stuff like that. It’s just easier and then also people that aren’t in lighting are gonna think it’s way too many lights, like on this tree right here, I don’t think anyone will disagree that it looks awesome. How many lights do you think that is? What if I told you that that was two on the ground, and one in the tree. Two on the bottom, one in the tree, so just to give you an idea; that tree three lights.
